I have been working on my colourist portfolio, as well as working on a tutorial. I am working on a Death Dealer piece, and instead of blasting through it, I have been trying to articulate how I go about photoshoping the pieece. Funny thing is that some stuff that I “just do” is hard to put into words, especially since I am essentially a self taught digital art guy.
On the other side of the spectrum, I have been working on my pinstriping. It is definately something that I want to dedicate more of my day to working on. I always find it amazing how fast old school painters can work, and how the imagery flows from the brush for them. While my designs are intially sketches, my hopes are to start free flowing designs in the near future. Once the new shop is finished, I think the first project will be my car.
